Selous Game Reserve
A 50,000 sq km Unesco World Heritage Site; the Selous Game Reserve in south Tanzania is a spectacular and largely undisturbed natural sanctuary, offering an abundance of large game, and stunning photo opportunities. Hippos, elephants, cheetah, giraffes and crocodiles live in this immense refuge. The number and variety of game is largely due to its diverse vegetation that includes dense thicket, forest and open wooded grasslands.
The vastly untouched African wilderness allows for visitors to see and photograph game in their natural environment
Boat tours: Take a boat ride among the Crocodiles and Hippos of the Rufiji River, which bisects the Selous Game Reserve from north to south.
